A Review of the Past Year with HR:4UK
At HR:4UK, we’re always looking at fresh and innovative ways to enhance our HR and employment services, keeping you up to speed with new legislation and making it easier for you to manage your people.
The world of employment is constantly evolving, so we like to be several steps ahead, ensuring that you stay on the right side of the law.
To meet these aims, we made some notable changes of our own during 2019, launching exciting new services such as our Absence Management System, an online employee management system that brings together all the main administrative tasks associated with the management and employment of staff.
We also made some key appointments, strengthening our growing team of HR professionals and enhancing our business development and marketing functions. During 2019 we welcomed operations manager Katie Price, sales executive Hein Smith and marketing executive Angela Baxter.
And our success was recognised when we received not one, but two, industry awards. We won Best Full-Service HR & Employment Advisory – East Midlands, and Leading Providers of Employee Benefits & Incentives, in the 2019 Midlands Enterprise Awards.
Other key developments over the past 12 months, include working with health & safety, quality and environmental expert, Lucy Walsh. Midlands-based Lucy has invaluable experience in assisting employers of all sizes (including large global organisations), to implement safe systems of work, gain accreditations and find unique solutions to manage risks.
We also exhibited at several business events last year, including the Better Business Expo in Derby, Cross Connections Business Expo at Leicester Racecourse and the Leicester Business Expo at the King Power Stadium. Additionally, we also ran a well-received, fun and informative session on employment and HR matters at the annual conference of the National Federation of Subpostmasters
(NFSP), in Stratford upon Avon. We’ve been delivering HR and employment advice to Britain’s postmasters as part of their NFSP membership for over 20 years and thoroughly enjoyed running the workshop.
A whole new raft of legislative changes are in the offing for 2020, but don’t worry. We have the expertise and experience to guide you through the legal minefield. We look forward to working with you throughout 2020, helping you manage any workplace issues efficiently and cost-effectively, and bringing you peace of mind.
